International Trade City Area (Futian Market), Yiwu
Yiwu International Trade City District 4
Opened 21 October 2008 with 1,080,000 m2 of floor space. Floor plan: 1 hosiery; 2 daily-use goods, gloves, hats and cotton knit; 3 footwear, ribbon and tape, lace, neckties, wool yarn and towels; 4 underwear, belts and scarves.
What buyers should know
Hosiery gets a whole floor (floor 1): this is where Yiwu's sock trade concentrates at wholesale level.
Daily-use goods and houseware buyers can cover floor 2 in a morning and still have time to compare prices across two or three neighbouring districts.
The district is the newest in the Trade City complex, so its service facilities (logistics, e-commerce, finance) are the most complete.

District 4 is the Trade City's building for hosiery, daily-use goods, hats, gloves, footwear and underwear. Its floors follow one category band each, and a one-day route can cover the categories most buyers come for.

More than 16,000 booths of soft goods and daily-use products sit in District 4, one category band per floor. This guide reads the official floor plan level by level and shows how the floors connect.

Soft-goods pricing is specification pricing. In District 4 the same sock, scarf or towel can carry several honest prices at once, and only a written specification tells you which one you are being given.

Soft goods compress, mix and mislabel easily, so District 4 rewards buyers who control every handover. The chain runs from booth pickup to a market-area warehouse, then to a forwarder for sea freight via Ningbo-Zhoushan or rail on the Yixinou line.
